Home to two Veterans Memorials, one sits by the Dorrance City Park on Old Hwy 40 and the second one is located in the Dorrance Cemetery. These Memorials have been visited by many and has been included as a drive through location during the Run For The Wall Event that takes place every May.
Russell
The City of Russell, a Purple Heart City, declared in 2023 and boyhood home of US Senator Bob Dole is home to multiple Veteran Memorials which includes the World War II Veteran's Memorial, a POW Memorial, the VFW Bob Dole Memorial and more.
